Rochester Is Bursting With Stories. We’re Proud to Add Five More.

On June 11, Butler/Till and our partner, Buckingham Properties, held a ceremonial groundbreaking for our new five-story building at 260 East Broad in downtown Rochester. “I think of it as a way of not only celebrating the rich past and history of Rochester, but also using it as a springboard to reimagining our future,” said President & CEO of Butler/Till, Kimberly Jones.

With an anticipated 2021 completion, the building will serve as Butler/Till’s new headquarters, as well as offer opportunities for pedestrian-friendly retail and residential housing. “This is just another really important step to fulfilling that vision of this being a very vibrant downtown,” explains Ken Glazer, Chairman of Buckingham Properties.

Several esteemed guests attended the ceremony, including Deputy Mayor James Smith. “In Rochester, we stand on the shoulders of those who came before us and they are certainly mighty shoulders,” said Deputy Mayor Smith.

“Here is yet another part of our story and this is the story that’s yet to be written.”
