More Than a Certification: What Being a WBE Means to Butler/Till

At Butler/Till, being a certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) isn’t just a credential—it’s part of our DNA. Since 2004, we’ve proudly held this certification, but our commitment to empowering women in the workforce has been unwavering for 25+ years. Founded in 1998 by two fearless women leaders, today, we’re a certified B Corporation with 300+ employee-owners across 23+ states, proving that women-led businesses don’t just thrive—they lead nationwide.

While we share being a WBE is part of our ethos, we also have the numbers to back up why it should matter to you. With 97% of Fortune 500 Companies prioritizing inclusion and investments in diverse-owned media surpassing $8 billion in 2024, brands are recognizing the power of all voices.

That’s why at Butler/Till, we launched a Purpose Driven Supply (PDS) in 2023—our initiative ensuring a dedicated percentage of media spend supports diverse-owned outlets. To accelerate this impact, we partnered with Sertify, the industry’s largest curated marketplace of certified diverse-owned publishers. Sertify’s five-minute verification process streamlines investments in 1,000+ verified publishers, generating 35+ billion monthly impressions.

Driving Meaningful Change

Since launching Women-Owned Deals with Sertify in 2025, Butler/Till has delivered 6.7 million impressions across 462 women-owned sites—proving that high performance and purpose can go hand in hand.

And when it comes to healthcare, a primary vertical of expertise at Butler/Till, women’s voices aren’t just important—they’re essential:

  •  80% of consumer purchasing decisions in healthcare are made by women.
  •  94% of women make their own healthcare choices, while 59% make them for others.
  • Women drive up to 90% of household healthcare decisions.

At Butler/Till, we believe that investing in women-owned businesses isn’t just the right thing to do—it’s a business imperative. By ensuring that diverse voices are represented in media, we’re making more than an impact—we’re shaping the future of our industry.
