What makes us proud? Knowing our employee-owners are fulfilled at Butler/Till, both professionally and personally. That’s why we consider being recognized as an Ad Age Best Places to Work one of our greatest accomplishments to date.
Ad Age Best Places to Work is an annual program dedicated to identifying and recognizing the marketing industry’s best employers while providing organizations with invaluable employee feedback. Ad Age Best Places to Work ranks companies that lead the pack in factors ranging from pay and benefits to corporate culture and leadership. This year, Ad Age is honoring companies that did a standout job as the ad business was met with the challenges of a weakening economy, changing media market, and continued tight talent pool.
The program ranks companies based on employee responses on topics including pay and benefits and seven other core focus areas, making up 75% of the score. Some of these topics include: company culture, company environment, employee benefits, employee development, employee engagement, and employee perks. Company policies and practices on areas including pay and benefits, work/life balance, recruitment, training and development make up the remaining 25% of the score.
There are 50 recognized companies on the Best Places to Work list; winners reflecting the highest overall scores based on an analysis of questionnaires submitted by employers and survey responses from employees.
As an independent, 100% employee-owned, women-owned, certified B Corporation we acknowledge that in today’s business landscape, organizations are responsible for far more than simply providing employment. As Kimberly Jones, President & CEO of Butler/Till shared, “we are increasingly evaluating our responsibility for our employees’ overall well-being and understanding that employees who can come to work unencumbered and engaged will make a greater business impact—and be happier doing it. This means taking on a more direct role in the responsibility for our employee’s development both professionally and personally.”
Time, health, wealth, learning and development, and peace of mind, that’s our promise to our employee-owners. This award proves that this continued investment in our people is a recipe for success and we are so incredibly proud to be an Ad Age Best Place to Work.
