Today marks a new beginning for Brand Cool, an integrated marketing agency based in Rochester, New York, with offices in New York City and San Francisco. The agency has recently undergone a massive rebranding initiative to better align with the organic changes it has experienced over the years. Moving forward, Brand Cool will be known as Verdant Brand Communications to more accurately reflect its evolution to meet a more diversified set of client challenges.
Since 1997, Brand Cool has been elevating the role of creativity in the energy sector, an industry known for low customer engagement. However, their unique approach of combining elements from psychology and anthropology with market research to reveal authentic human truths has proven applicable well beyond energy. This has allowed the agency to expand its client base into other regulated, multifaceted categories like financial services and cannabis.
“It came to a point where the Brand Cool name no longer felt like a good match for the variety of partners we engage,” says Britt Rollins, managing director. “But Verdant, by definition, represents equal parts growth, vitality, promise, and renewal—all attributes we see in ourselves and in our clients.”
While the Verdant brand is new, the company will remain an important part of the of Butler/Till family.
