Butler/Till Media Grows and Team Roles Expand Resulting in Three Promotions

Three of Butler/Till’s rising stars in media have been promoted: Jill Currie has been promoted to Associate Media Director – Direct Response, Kelly Kilpatrick has been promoted to Associate Media Director, and Matt Nespoli has been promoted to Associate Digital Media Director. The trio’s roles have expanded due the firm’s significant growth in late 2015 and early 2016. The agency has over $170M in capitalized billings this year and has experienced client wins including the New York Lottery in partnership with Universal McCann, New York Tourism in partnership with Campbell Ewald, Ferring Pharmaceuticals, Hologic, Stony Brook University, and the SUNY System.

In her new role as Associate Media Director – Direct Response, Currie will oversee all direct response media strategy, planning, and buying at Butler/Till. A serious media know-how, Currie, along with her team of planner/buyers, executes response-driven plans that integrate with awareness-driven campaigns across all media forms. Some of those brands include CenturyLink and Excellus BlueCross BlueShield. Previously Currie was Media Supervisor – Direct Response. Currie has been with Butler/Till for 4 years, where she started as a Senior Account Executive on the CenturyLink team. Currie received her Bachelor’s Degree from SUNY Buffalo and has been in marketing for 17 years.

As Associate Media Director, Kilpatrick will support broadcast and print media strategy, planning and buying at Butler/Till. Kilpatrick oversees a team of planners/buyers who execute plans for major brands including CenturyLink and the New York Lottery. Previously, Kilpatrick was Media Supervisor. Kilpatrick has been with Butler/Till for 11 years, where she started as an Administrative Assistant. She is a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology and has been a media professional for 11 years.

In his new role as Associate Digital Media Director, Nespoli will support all digital media strategy, planning, and buying at Butler/Till. Nespoli’s team of digital planners/buyers execute plans for brands, including State Farm, Kodak, and Ferring Pharmaceuticals. Previously, Matt was Digital Media Supervisor. Nespoli has been with Butler/Till since 2013, where he began as an Account Supervisor. He is a graduate of Fairfield University and has been in the media field for 13 years.
